Which Paint Shop template fits my Tesla?

Tesla publishes a different wrap layout for almost every model year and trim. Here is how to tell which one your car needs before you design anything.

A Paint Shop wrap is a flat PNG that Tesla folds around the 3D car on your screen. Each layout only fits the body it was drawn for, so a wrap made for a 2025 Model Y Premium will land on the wrong panels of a 2025 Performance. Picking the right template first saves you from redoing a finished design.

Start with the model and the year

  • Model 3 2017–2023 and Model 3 2024+ are different bodies — the 2024 refresh changed the bumpers and lights.
  • Model Y 2020–2024, Model Y 2025+ and the longer six-seat Model Y L each have their own layout.
  • Model S has a 2021+ layout and a separate 2025+ Plaid layout; Model X 2021+ and Cybertruck have one each.

Then check the trim

From 2024 on, some trims change the bodywork. The Model 3 2024+ Performance and the Model Y 2025+ Performance have their own front bumper and side skirts, and the Model Y 2025+ Standard differs from the Premium. If your car is a newer model, look at the badge on the back or the trim name under Controls → Software in the car.

Why the editor asks for the exact version

Every template is the official layout Tesla publishes for owners, so our 3D preview and export use the same panel map your car will use. Choose the version once, design freely, and the PNG you export will line up when you upload it.
