Wrap not showing up in Paint Shop? Check these 6 things

Most upload problems come down to the file name, size, folder or app version. A quick checklist to get your custom wrap onto the car.

You exported a wrap, but it is not in the list in Toybox → Paint Shop → Wraps. Work through this list in order — the first two cover most cases.

  1. Folder name and place. On USB, the PNGs must be in a folder called exactly Wraps at the top level of the drive, not inside another folder.
  2. USB format. The drive must be exFAT, FAT32, ext3 or ext4. NTFS and Mac-only formats are not read.
  3. File name. Use only letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens and underscores, at most 30 characters, ending in .png.
  4. Size. The image must be between 512×512 and 1024×1024 pixels and no larger than 1 MB.
  5. How many. Keep at most 10 wraps in the folder; extra files may be ignored.
  6. App version. Uploading from the phone needs Tesla app v4.59.0 or later: Creations → Wrap → Upload.

It shows up but looks wrong

If graphics land on the wrong panels, the wrap was made for a different version of your car. See which template fits your Tesla, then open the design in the editor and switch version.
